The Story of Milk War in Dalsmynni Trailer: Inga and her husband run a small, heavily indebted dairy farm in the Icelandic province. After the sudden death of her husband Inga wants to put an end to their professional misery. She has long since identified the guilty party for the problems: the local cooperative, which mercilessly exploits its monopoly position and harasses the peasants with mafia methods. But Inga does not give in. With the use of social media, courageous fellow combatants and even smelly manure, the patente fighter makes her point clear. In doing so, she struggles with the all-powerful, seemingly overpowering cooperative in order to achieve her goal: the founding of a counter-cooperative. MILK WAR IN DALSMYNNI ran in competition at the Toronto Film Festival, where he thrilled audiences and press alike with his current references and his dry, Nordic humor.
